“I was glad when they said unto me,
Let us go into the house of the Lord.”

Our Servant Leaders
Rev. Dr. Jerald H. Brown & Mrs. Christine D. Brown
Jerald H. Brown received Christ as his Personal Savior at an early age and became a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church in Ruffin, North Carolina under the leadership of Rev. T.B. Wilson. But he couldn’t stop there. God sought a higher calling for his life, and in 2002, he surrendered again and accepted his call to preach the Word of God with a desire to “put God first in everything in my life.” He was licensed by Pastor Charles W. Glenn, Jr. He was ordained by the Cedar Grove Association in 2012 and became Rev. Jerald H. Brown. Since 2013, Rev. Brown has served dutifully as an associate minister under the leadership of Rev. Dr. John B. Doe, Jr. at Gwynn’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Pelham.
He received his Doctor of Divinity from Living Epistle Bible College in Brown Summit, N.C. In addition to being a warrior for Christ, he has been a warrior in law enforcement, having spent 26 years as a Caswell County Sherriff’s Deputy. He retired as Captain from the Criminal Investigation Division and the Civil Division of the Courts. In March 2018, Rev. Brown was appointed pastor-elect of Allens and installed April 15, 2018. He pastors, and with time and opportunity, he enjoys his hobbies of gardening, fishing and hunting.
Lady Christine is a praying and compassionate wife. She is a loving mother to son, Terrence, and a grandmother to five grandchildren. She stands by her husband’s side; they work together in a Jail Ministry. In addition, Lady Christine joyfully sang with the Spiritual Choir of Gwynn’s Chapel for thirty years, served as Deaconess, member of the Missionary Ministry and as Chairperson of the Health Ministry. She is employed with Aging Disability Health Care Services in Reidsville, North Carolina. She loves people and finds it rewarding to witness to others and watch God change their lives.
This ministry duo possesses a zeal for Christ that is contagious. We are grateful for their leadership and for loving God’s people. Pastor and Lady Brown resides in Pelham, North Carolina.
